Laura was initiated by the African Shaman- Salif Keita to share the rhythms, dance and culture of West Africa.  Having studied in Africa and around the world for over 17 years, Laura is renowned for her ability to activate the village experience and have each woman celebrating her unique beauty & power and the beauty of her sisters.

GODDESS TANIT SHRINE

Excursion & Offering to the Goddess of Ibiza

Tanit is the Goddess of Ibiza. It was the Phonecians, some of the first settlers on the island who brought her here way back in the fifth century BC.

She was a great Goddess of her time and worshippers turned to her for protection, strength in war and for blessings in love and fertility.  

She encourages feminine power and it’s believed that she’s the reason why there are so many powerful, successful women in Ibiza today.

Tanits’ Cave overlooks the sea and the small private island of Tagomago. Nestled in the womb of the Earth, within this secluded cave is evidence that she’s been worshipped here for nearly 2500 years.

Inside the cave, there’s an original altar still standing strong with the  passing of many centuries. This cave lay undisturbed for a very long time and was rediscovered by some local children in 1907.

We will pay homage to Tanits’ shrine with our own offerings, and activate the Goddess that resides within each of us.

EXCURSIONS

We will also enjoy sampling the local cuisine and shopping at the world renowned San Joan marketplace.

For our final evening together, we will venture to the beautiful La Paloma restaurant for authentic home-made locally sourced cuisine. La Paloma restaurant is nestled amongst an orange grove, in the north of the island and is enchanting to say the least.

Yin Yoga Classes

SECONDARY NUTRITION includes all of the movement and literal nutrition you give to your body temple. Embodiment is key!

Yoga Practice - 

Rebecca will be sharing a heart opening, yin practice. Comprising of 3 main elements : Traditional Asana Yoga practice with Traditional Chinese Medicine, meridian theory and Buddhist Mindfulness. Through these practices we have a direct experience of opening layers around the heart space to fully align with the true essence of our heart energy.

Delicious Nourishing Organic Meals

Our personal chef Lisa Strong, will be serving up colorful and nutritious plant based culinary delights that are locally sourced. Lisa has worked on retreats since 2012 and her friendly Northern manner is sure make you feel instantly at home. She is a highly qualified nutritionist & wellness coach, Lisa loves cooking and has been featured in Sainsbury's Magazine.
