I was bulimic and anorexic for eight years of my life, and most of my thoughts were based on depression. I mean, I just focused on the negative; I hated my life, I hated my relationship with my parents, I hated my relationship with my dad, I used to fight with my mother all the time, literally fight with my mother all the time, and every single day I would just wake up hating my life.
And what ended up happening is obviously that revealed itself to me in my body and I didn’t want to eat, and I of course was throwing up my food and lost dramatic amounts of weight and it was just a really horrible, horrible experience as you can imagine, and my relationship to my body was, I don’t want to say it forever changed, but for a large period of my life was very, very delicate relationship that I had.
So for me it’s really important to share that these practices of where we place our attention is actually to prevent us for going down the path of disease, and a diseased body which can manifest in many different forms to literal depression, to of course the sickness and the illnesses that our body represent in the form of cancer and all of these other diseases.
For me it’s incredibly important to, while we are well, to continue to do the daily practices of placing our attention on the aspects of our life that are life affirming to us and that feel good to notice.
Love for self, love for myself. It’s an interesting subject, because when I speak about it like that, a lot of people go “God, that’s so selfish,” that is higher selfish because everything in my life is an extension of the relationship I have with myself.
So the greatest journey I’ve embarked on, and continue to embark on, is absolutely loving myself completely. And that’s an ongoing journey that continues every day.
I have an amazing collection of incredible people that I call my family, that are mirrors for me, incredible realizations about the areas that I’m not fully loving myself when I go into judgment of others, because I realize there’s no such thing as an other; it’s all an extension of me and the relationship that I have with myself and just coming to set your profound realization that it’s all me!
So love me, and I’ve really moved into, I would say, one of the most profound loves and courtships I’ve ever had with myself and with the divine. And I’m so incredibly blessed and the appreciation practices helped to cultivate that romance for me in a very powerful way.

Row, row, row your boat gently down the stream, merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily your life can be your dream.
Don't give up, stay committed, believe in your dreams, believe in yourself, know that it is your birth right to thrive; it is your birthright to share your unique gifts and talents in exchange for what we call money, which is just an appreciation currency.
I just want to remind every single person that your attention is your greatest commodity and so, if you are experiencing something other than ease and grace in your life doesn't feel like this, and some version of this, something's misaligned. All that's required to shift your external reality is to begin to pivot your attention more in the direction of what you prefer.
So if you had, or got in the habit of focusing on what isn't working lack and scarcity, the greatest gift you can give yourself is to begin a morning practice of appreciating what is working in your life, begin to shift your attention to possibility thinking.
You really have two core choices and please know your perception is creating your reality; this is why we have 7.5 billion different realities happening simultaneously on this planet. So you have two choices you can choose to perceive your life through the lens of lack, scarcity and what isn't working, which will absolutely create pain, drama and challenges for you. Remember we live in a magnetic paradise where the majority of your inner dialogue is being validated with external circumstances. So in order to change your experience you’ve got to change your story. Everything in life’s a story, the most important one is the one telling yourself.
So please know you do not need to micromanage 60 to 80,000 of your thoughts in order for your reality to shift. All that is required is to shift from 49 to 51 percent of what you prefer. There is something in physics called momentum that will handle the rest. So if you find that you have had a pattern and the tendency to focus on what isn't working, do yourself an incredible favor and shift your perception and your attention to what you prefer. So once you start focusing on gratitude and appreciation, which is the highest vibration you can offer, and what is working in your life, you will begin to promote infinite possibilities and more to appreciate. I know this for sure; I went from being depressed, penniless and pointless, to living the life of my dreams. So if I can do it, you can do it.
Remember we are the ones we’ve been waiting for. Be your own best leader, ok? And also, be the change you wish to see in the world, which is not do the change you wish to see in the world at your own expense.

I'm here visiting my aunt and celebrating my heritage, my history. I'm here at the Viking festival today and now it doesn't seem like it, I just left all the chaos to come and record this video, but yeah, I'm here at the Viking festival really celebrating my Viking heritage. Prepping myself for my trip to Norway next month and religious feeling nostalgic, and also bit sentimental thinking about all of the people that have come before me that have forged their way through their own personal challenges.
Literally my great great great grandfather was ****Ericsson one of the original pioneers who literally crossed the Atlantic Ocean with such an incredible spirit and such a incredible devotion to adventure, that he was willing to risk his life. And I think about all of my relatives and all of my ancestors that have, once again, gone through whatever challenges they've gone through, and I'm so grateful for the adventurous spirit that I have, and for my ability to navigate change and to operate in the state of trust.
And I really want to I encourage everybody to celebrate your life embrace all that has come before you. I know we have a tendency to really judge our experiences and judge our past and judge ourselves for what we could have done differently, or what maybe could have been different. And just really I truly feel with all of my heart that everything that has come before is been on purpose, has been for us, and it's definitely an integral element; everything that's come before is an aspect of what is and forms the unique beings that we are, and so just remember there's no one like you on this planet: never has been and never will be.
So embrace yourself, embrace our ancestors, embrace your life and I'm sending so much love to each and every single one of you from Minnesota.

Hey Everyone, it’s Laura Fredrickson in the Institute of True Wealth.
I’m here in Tulum, Mexico, having an absolutely amazing magical experience, and I wanted to remind each of you that it is impossible to find happiness.
For any of you if you that may be seeking or finding happiness this year perhaps in accomplishments, or in money, or in you relationships, I just want to forewarnyou that that’s energetically impossible.
Just know that happiness is something that is realized and it’s not something that gets assigned from the outside in, but rather from the inside out.
Soone of the most efficient and quickest ways to realize happiness is to devote your attention more often than not to what is working in your life and what you’re grateful for. Appreciation is the highest vibration you can offer, so when you decide to go on a deliberate plan to notice what is working, but you appreciate ***in your life exactly how it is, you’ll actually start to realize greater, and greater happiness and fulfillment. In terms of energetic return on that choice, you will start to actually manifest your heart’s desires although I want to remind you it’s not about the manifestation of the thing, it’s about the creative journey.
So just a loving reminder to focus on what is working and you will start to realize happiness and from that place everything else will unfold.

Hey everyone, I am here in Germany outside of a small village in the forest.
Just celebrated Christmas, freezing my ass off... But Hey! Why on earth would I be here of anywhere that I could be? Because I am in love! And my heart is warm, so I hope each of your hearts are warm; you’re celebrating your life, and as we approach new year's I just wanted to offer some super loving important reminders, which is: most people start focusing on their new year's resolutions, all the things are going to change, and ends up being quite overwhelming.
Most people will start with those things for the first couple of months and then revert back to old ways, old patterns, so, insanity is of course doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
So, if you're ready to write a new book, not just a new chapter in the old book, then what I would highly recommend is you do a progress report, so acknowledge all the amazing things that you accomplish, the amazing shifts and transformations that you had; what you were able to realize in 2016 and then as far as 2017 start focusing on what is most important to you. What is the essence of what you want to feel and you want to experience. And then start doing the practice of non attachment; in other words, let go what you think your life is supposed to look like. Focus on what you want it to feel like. Stay focused on what's most meaningful and important to you; your clarity is one of your superpowers. And then the key is, as a vibrational being, always be on vibrationalmatch.com. Make sure that the majority of the time in your life right now you’re focused on gratitude and what is working. This is a winning combination; the ingredients of those two things will create the recipe of realization in 2017.
Once again, let go of what it's going to look like; allow this amazing energy that governs nature, that governs our life in every moment to orchestrate the details and I promise you it will create magic, and abundance, and joy, and love beyond what you could possibly imagine.

it's Laura Fredrickson. I’m here in Ibiza, Spain and as you can see I am in the most majestic, amazing locations. I took myself on a walk about, a lot of people are in the closing parties today in Ibiza, and I decided to come and pay my tributes to my church which is the Church of Planet Earth, and to just do a beautiful meditation intention setting for a new moon.
And just find that the most beautiful meditations that I can ever do are those that are based in two very simple words which is thank you. And when I say thank you, I truly am grateful for my life exactly how it is. So it's not about altering, it's not about wishing things were different, it truly is about being grateful for everything that's unfolded and I know you may say “well yeah, look where you are; you have so much to be grateful for”, but know that my journey and my path has not always looked like this and it certainly has not felt like this. I've had many years of depression, many years of despair, all fundamentally of course due to basing my life, my insecurity, my happiness, well being, on the illusory and fleeting value of money or something outside of myself.
So have embarked on a journey of self discovery which initiated about 20 years ago, I've been on it every since. And I just want you to know that if I can do it you can do it. And one of the most incredible catalysts for me to realize the life that I'm living now was a gratitude appreciation practice. So if you find that you're in a dark place or even if you find that you're in an amazing place, you can always elevate your experience, believe me.
And I would just want to just remind everybody that one of the most powerful things that you can do to shift your current experiences is to do your mental fitness gym. And so a lot of people are focused on yoga and eating right and all that is amazing, but we're not creating from our actions, were creating from our thoughts. Our thoughts are giving rise to our feelings which are informing our actions which are creating our results. So in order to fundamentally shift our results we have to shift our beliefs and the way that we're thinking for the most part. We don't have to do that to the point of perfection, we don't have to micromanage 60,000 thoughts, but we do need to shift the inner ratio of our attention from focusing on lack, scarcity and what isn't working, to possibility what is working and appreciation.
So, powerful practice that supported me is an appreciation practice of gratitude journal, so I would invite you. Four days aweek is all that's required. For the first part of the day it’s ideal because it will set the energetic tone for your day. We’re going to acknowledge three things that you’re grateful for; it can be absolutely anything. And you know that you're doing the exercise right because it will feel good to do so.
So threethings you’re grateful for, no repeats. No repeats is important because it’s going to deepen and expand what you’re noticing, which will deepen and expand what you're inviting in. So remember what you focus on expands so what you appreciate appreciates.

it’s Laura Fredrickson in the Institute of True Wealth, I’m here in Oslo Norway and I’m sitting by a river, and it’s so powerful to look at nature as a reminder, as symbolic metaphor for the way that we’re intended to experience our lives here on the planet. Nature is the ultimate creative force and for most of us, we are in the process of deliberately creating our experience, so why not let the ultimate creative force to be reminded of how that’s intended to be.
Rivers flow downstream and it's important for us to remember that each of us is on our own boat; each of use is responsible for navigating our own experience on this river of life. So there's approximately seven and a half billion boats on this river. And it's important to know that the number one most important desire that we have is to actually experience ease, grace, peace, wellbeing and fulfillment. The manifestation of our heart’s desires actually come secondary. In other words, it's not about the destination; It's about the journey. It’s about how we're feeling the course of our creative process.
So it's important to remember that everything flows downstream and when we decide to direct our boat downstream we are actually flowing in the direction of everything that we’re wanting. All of the cooperative relationships everything, the divine conspiracy, is coordinating all the details of the manifestation of our heart’s desires.
So it's really important to remember that how we direct our personal boats is through the placement of our attention. Our attention is our greatest commodity.
I want to give you a very powerful practice. It's what I refer to as your mental fitness gym. A lot of you are dedicated to yoga, and fitness, and proper nutrition, but a lot of people fail to focus on the most important nutrition which is our thoughts. Why is that the most important? Because we're creating from our thoughts, not from our actions.
So I want to give you a powerful practice, it's what I call your gratitude appreciation journal, and what I invite you to do is at least four days a week notice on what is working in your life. Focus on what you're grateful for. If you're not appreciating your life, you’re judging it.
It’s powerful to do three things at the beginning of your day, and no repeats. The reason it's important to do no repeats is because you will deepen and expand what you’re noticing, which will deepen and expand what you're welcoming into your life.
So again, most important thing is to go downstream with the flow in the river of life and remember you are powerful beyond measure.
